Relive the “date which will live in infamy” as you board the USS Arizona Memorial, which sits on top of the battleship sank during the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. You’ll be able to stand directly above the sunken ship and see the oil that’s still leaking out after more than 65 years! You’ll also get to see dramatic footage of the actual attack and the shrine room, which is dedicated to the 1,177 crew members resting below the waters.

Later, you’ll explore the site of the Japanese unconditional surrender to the United States onboard the world’s most impressive battleship, the USS Missouri, also know as the “Mighty Mo”. You will also get to tour below the main deck and see the inner workings of the battleship including the living quarters of the sailors.
Following your Pearl Harbor visit and tour of downtown Honolulu’s historical district, you’ll continue to Punchbowl National Cemetery where President Barack Obama’s paternal grandfather is buried and his grandmother’s memorial services were held. The tour continues through the Hawaiian Homelands district of Papakolea and Makiki Heights passing by the prestigious Punahou School where Obama graduated in 1979. From there you’ll proceed to the President’s Poki St Street childhood home where he periodically lived with his Mother and little sister from 1974-1976. Your next sighting is Kapiolani Medical Center where Barack was born. The tour will conclude with a drive by President Obama’s last and primary home in Hawaii at 1617 Beretania Street. He resided here from 1971-1976 with his beloved Grandparents.
